I can’t stand to see her lungs breathe, so take me where I can’t find them.

If I built a nest of steel and placed it on a mountain,
I covered it with grace and zeal would you you climb to meet me there?
Grab a hold of shakey rock and trust the vines to lead you
past the safety of the roots of trees towards the sun-lit canopy?
A sturdy nest lays vacant though God Himself provided.
There is fear of death and fear is strong enough to keep our nests on the ground.

A bitter stem comes bursting forth past an old abandoned mansion.
There was wealth, success, and beauty there but time will always win.
A gripping force has got me by the neck, my sword is broken.
